About
I am Professor of Rhetoric at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo and a Researcher at Uppsala University, where I lead the Formas-funded project on the Riksbank and sustainability.
My path has run between countries and disciplines: from rhetoric at Södertörn University to a doctorate on the concept of diplomacy at Uppsala, via the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris, the Université libre de Bruxelles and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. I translate Barbara Cassin into Swedish and write on populism, sophistics, diplomacy, and the rhetorical history of institutions.
What connects it is a single question: why do the problems of today appear as the do?
